The JNR Shishasip 35K is a rechargeable vape running on prefilled cartridges, from the brand JNR. It uses a two-pod system: two 10 ml pods with a built-in coil, powered by a rechargeable 1050 mAh battery. Its draw is tuned for direct-to-lung (DTL) inhalation, with an e-liquid dosed at 6 mg/ml in nicotine salts.

Two-pod system and capacity

The device takes two prefilled 10 ml cartridges, for a total capacity of 20 ml. Each pod is sealed and carries its own coil: there is no manual refilling and no separate coil change. The two slots work independently, so you can run through one cartridge and then the other, or use two different flavours. The pods are not refillable; once empty, they are swapped for replacement cartridges of the same reference.

The manufacturer quotes a lifespan of up to 35,000 puffs across the full 20 ml supplied. This figure is a manufacturer estimate: the actual number of puffs varies with draw length, airflow setting and usage conditions.

Battery and charging

The built-in battery has a 1050 mAh capacity and recharges through a USB-C port. A display shows the charge level and the remaining e-liquid. The USB-C cable is not always included, depending on the retailer.

Coil, draw and nicotine

The coil is a mesh type, rated at 0.6 ohm, built into each cartridge. An airflow ring lets you vary the air intake, from a restricted direct-lung draw to a fully airy one. Vapour output in direct-to-lung inhalation is greater than in mouth-to-lung inhalation with an equivalent liquid: that is the technical reason for the strength chosen here, 6 mg/ml in nicotine salts, lower than the 20 mg/ml common on tight-draw devices. The amount of nicotine inhaled depends on vapour volume as much as on the liquid's concentration.

Use and maintenance

Charge the battery before first use. Insert the cartridge into its slot until it clicks, then wait a few minutes before the first puff, so the wick can soak up the liquid. The device is draw-activated automatically, with no button. Set the airflow to the draw you want. Replace the cartridge when it runs empty or when the flavour starts to fade.

Storage and recycling

Keep the device away from heat, moisture and direct light, out of reach of children and pets. At the end of its life, the device contains a lithium battery: it must be dropped off at a WEEE collection point and not thrown out with household waste. Used cartridges follow the same channel.
