The Wookah Funnel Flow, a phunnel bowl built for the session

Designed by Wookah, the Funnel Flow is a tall, slender shisha bowl built for smokers who want controlled heat and a steady draw from the first puff to the last. It's based on a funnel architecture with a single central chimney: a simple, proven design that puts performance ahead of frills. It's the kind of bowl you keep coming back to for its consistency, whether for a quick solo break or a long evening with friends.

Refractory clay and a slender profile

This bowl is shaped from quality, heat-resistant clay that handles the rise in temperature without stress on the material. Standing around 10.5 cm tall, it has a higher, finer silhouette than a classic bowl: that elongated shape helps the heat from the coals spread gradually toward the tobacco, for a gentle burn and a true-to-life flavour. As the clay warms slowly, it gives back an enveloping heat that respects the flavours.

A single central hole to manage heat and juice

Like every phunnel bowl, the Funnel Flow has just one raised central chimney, with no small holes at the bottom of the well. In practice, the tobacco and its juice stay in the bowl instead of running down into the stem: the draw stays clean, the flavours are preserved and upkeep is far simpler. This juice management is especially appreciated with modern, syrup-rich tobaccos that deliver dense, fragrant clouds.

Compatible with every packing style

Whether you like an airy, light "fluffy" pack for a soft draw, or on the contrary a dense, tightly packed bowl for a longer burn and thicker clouds, this bowl adapts. Its well takes on both schools without trouble, making it a versatile companion for refining your technique. Beginners find it a forgiving, easy-to-handle bowl, while seasoned enthusiasts get a reliable base to fine-tune every session.

A smooth surface, express cleaning

The smooth inner surface of this bowl limits how much tobacco sticks and makes cleaning far easier: a rinse under hot water is usually enough to get a clean bowl back, ready for the next flavour. Fewer baked-on residues also means fewer flavour carry-overs from one session to the next, and gear that keeps its integrity over time. The simplicity of this bowl is also one of its greatest strengths.

Who this bowl is for

The Funnel Flow suits both the home smoker who wants to make their sessions more reliable and the demanding enthusiast after a precise, durable bowl. Compact, it pairs perfectly with Wookah setups and compact-format shishas, while still sitting on a classic hookah body via a suitable bowl grommet. For shisha bars and lounges, its sturdiness and quick upkeep are everyday assets.

Why choose it on el-badia.com

A benchmark in the shisha world since 1991, el-badia.com selects bowls built to last and to get the best out of every tobacco. A little expert tip: on a phunnel bowl of this size, start with two well-lit coals placed on the rim, manage the heat with a heat management device or a lid, and let it breathe for a minute after packing before you draw. You get a carefully curated selection, advice from enthusiasts and fast delivery.
